THE KOP re-VIEW

It is two o’clock on a Saturday afternoon, you are in Liverpool to watch the Premier League at 3 pm, in Anfield. You are feeling a bit rough after the night before.  Sluggishly getting out of bed you open the blinds and you are met by one of the most iconic stadiums in the world of football, right outside your hotel window.  

Located next to the heart of Merseyside on Walton Breck Road in Liverpool, is the most perfectly located hotel for any football fan, with a view from your room straight at Anfield Stadium, the Kop View.

If you’re an avid football fan, travelling up to Liverpool, the Kop View Hotel is the place to stay. With affordable prices, comfy beds and a warm and homely atmosphere, your experience will get even better when it is only a two-minute walk to Anfield. 

Not to worry if you’re an Everton fan with an appreciation for the scene of football, as Goodison Park is only a 14-minute walk away. If you have had enough of the long walks, busses run towards the city right outside the house. 

We, a group of four people, staying Friday-Saturday, paid £62 a night in total, including a continental breakfast and WI-FI.

For that price we were sceptical, trying to find a catch, however, we soon realised that the only catch was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay at the Kop View. 

To top off the scouse experience, you’re greeted with a smile by Michael, the eager-to-please and helpful host. One thing about the Kop View is that it has a Heart as Big as Liverpool.

On the streets, a sea of fans are already bustling and cheering, but you’re in no rush, you’re still going to make a quick stop by the chippy around the corner. 

You’re in the crowds now, on your way to the stadium, opening the box of takeaway to take a bite from your food but you are suddenly interrupted by a steward.

“TICKET?”, he bellows.

That is how convenient the location of the Kop View is for football fans. Therefore, the Hotel will receive five out of five stars in rating considering the low price, location and service. A perfect accommodation for a football weekend.
